Pamplona on deck

The proposal is for the project of a lightweight building that should house the site of a new city museum.

At the iconic point of the city's fabric between the second expansion and the citadel, the building of the former Caja Municipal de Pamplona is built with an elegant exposed concrete that reveals the planed wooden planks that built its formwork. On its perfect structural grid and crowning the 10 floors of height that, compared to the scale of other buildings in the immediate context, are scarce, the proposal is the project of a lightweight construction that should house the headquarters of a new museum of the city.

The new metal piece on top of the building that will appear at the intersection of Avda. del Ejército and Avda. Yanguas y Miranda will take advantage of the magnificent views from its cima to offer visitors a story of the city. The project will be supported by a permanent exhibition on the evolution of Pamplona, a small projection area and a area for children.
