Our mission statement
The Institute Core Curriculum (ICC) has the mission statement to promote the humanistic training that the University of Navarra offers to its students and professors, as proposed in its statement of core values. The specific task of the Institute is the dialogue between the Christian vision of the world and contemporary culture. Because of its interdisciplinary and inter-faculty character, it depends on Office of the Executive Council.
Since its foundation in 1952, the University has mission statement offered its students a comprehensive Education . From the beginning, the Schools of Theology and Philosophy and Letters offered a general humanistic Education to all students. The work of the ICC began in an organized way through the Institute of Anthropology and Ethics in 1998. Finally, it was in 2016 that the center was transformed into the Institute Core Curriculum (ICC).
The ICC - in partnership with the various Schools and schools - develops its activity in these three areas
training general cross-cutting curriculum offered to students from Degree and postgraduate programagreement with the "Principles of Core Curriculum".
partnership in the continuous training of academic staff of the various Schools and schools through the "DOCENS Program for the academic staff on training" and through the organization of conference and courses.
