Structure of each Degree

The Core Curriculum is a general humanistic training aimed at all students and common to all degree programmes at the University of Navarra. It forms part of all syllabuses, together with the subjects specific to each Degree: those specific to the discipline and those directly related to its assumptions and implications, as explained in the following tables.

Anthropology and Ethics are compulsory subjects and are taught in all Degrees in the 1st and 2nd year, respectively.

The Cultural Keys subjects are chosen from a wide range of courses, but it is necessary to take 2 of them for 3 credits each for fill in the Core Curriculum which is taken by all students at the University of Navarra.

18 ECTS CREDIT CREDIT.

Discipline-specific subjects.

  • Ontology.

  • Anatomy.

Subjects directly related to the presuppositions and implications of the discipline. 

Examples: 

  • Professional ethics.

  • History of Medicine.

  • Philosophy of Economics.

  • Bioethics.
