Last Saturday, March 2, five students from the School took part in the congress Forun, organized by the University. The Foro Universidad de Navarra (FORUN) is an annual congress of students for students and is based on the conviction that the university years are a time not only of intellectual learning, but also of commitment staff in the improvement of society.
The five students of the 3rd year of Degree in programs of study Architecture developed a whole work in which they presented and broke down the relationship between architecture and the Marvel Universe. As they explained, human imagination and the transfer of it to modern architecture allows in movies, such as those of the superhero cinematic universe, that viewers are fascinated by such constructions.
The students focused on certain cities within this 'universe' to explain their findings. ''For this study, we will focus on the Marvel Universe, specifically the worlds of Wakanda, Asgard, Microverse and Knowhere since they have an extensive architectural development ,'' the students explain at report of work.
Would the development of fantastic films be possible without the presence of human creativity in the creation of this architecture? That's what the five students asked themselves to develop their study. ''We have all seen fantastic movies in which the characters are enraptured by the amazing architecture that is sample in them, however, these spaces are not real, but are a product of human imagination created with a desire to achieve an architecture that, today, with existing construction methods, would be impossible to achieve,'' they explain in their work.
