On Friday, May 9, the 5th year students of the Degree in Architecture programs of study presented their projects of the Collaborative Online International Learning(COIL) program, 'Performance on La Palma', during the final jury.
This project has been developed in partnership with the Cabildo La Palma and is part of the Foro America, an initiative between the Panamerican Federation of Architects Associations(FPAA) and the School of Architecture of La Palma. School of Architecture of Architecture of the University of Navarra.
A project that has counted with the participation of 10 other universities in Latin America; Universidad Católica Andrés Bello(UCAB), Universidad Nacional Santiago Antúnez de Mayo(UNASAM), Universidad Privada Santa Cruz de la Sierra(UPSA), Universidad Latina de México(ULM), Universidad Internacional de las Américas(UIA), Universidad Panamericana(UP), Universidad Católica de Santa Fe(UCSF), Universidad del Istmo(UNIS), Universidade do Vale Do Taquari(UNIVATES) and Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil(UCSG).
During the workshop, the students defended their proposals for a summer university campus in El Paso, a municipality on the Canary Island of La Palma.
Architects Eduardo Arroyo of NO.MAD Arquitectos, Joan Roig of Batlle i Roig Arquitectura, and Patxi Mangado of Mangado & Asociados took part in the critique.
