III European Liberal Arts and Core Texts Education Conference
On 17, 18 and 19 October 2019 the III European Liberal Arts and Core Texts Education Conference will take place at the University of Navarra, with the following address degree scroll: Caring for souls: Can core texts educate character?
The III European Liberal Arts and Core Texts Education is held every two years and brings together scholars from European universities interested in the tradition and internship of liberal Education . These universities use the Great Books methodology as part of their educational proposal . They are part of the ACTC, association of universities worldwide that promote liberal Education .
John Henry Newman was a great advocate of the liberal Education and as part of that, of Education through the reading of the Classics. We see this congress as complementary to our International Newman colloquium , and offer the opportunity for those who wish to do so to register for both.
