Digitalized documents request
If you need to consult a article or book chapter that is only in the printed collection of Library Services, for teaching purposes and research, ask us to send you a digitalized copy.
Who can access apply for digitized documents
Professor and researcher, Phd students and students of Master's Degree who are doing the work of end of Master's Degree (TFM).
What can you ask for
Book chapters or articles that are part of the collection of Library and are in print format only, with the exception of the Special collection. Requests may not exceed one chapter or a maximum of 10% of a book.
Excluded are single-use books (e.g., exercise books used in the language teaching ), musical scores, and books that collect plates or photographs.
How to apply for digitized documents
To start using the service it is necessary to register previously. This step will be done only once.
Requests for digitized chapters and articles are processed through this application form.
The staff of the Library will send the digitized copies (pdf) by e-mail within approximately 24-48 hours.
The person requesting a digitized copy agrees to use it exclusively for teaching purposes and research, in compliance with the conditions established by the Intellectual Property Law for the reproduction of documents.
