Loans
Who can borrow
Members of the University of Navarra (students, professors, researchers and staff), as well as invited visitors, alumni and members of institutions with which an agreement has been signed.
How many works and for how long
Each user has its own loan conditions. See how many books you can borrow at the same time and for how long.
Works excluded for loan
Journals, dictionaries, encyclopaedias and works of special value, as well as other works marked with label Excluded for loan.
How and where to lend
If you have direct access to the works you wish to borrow, you can take them from the shelf and go to the self-loan machines or to the counter. If the work cannot be accessed directly, it must be requested from Unika, through the Request button on the corresponding registration screen. You will receive an e-mail when the work is available.

Check works on loan
In My Account option you can consult the works on loan and the date of return.
Reservation
If you request a book held by someone else you will receive an email when it is available. You can cancel reservation from section My Loans in My Account.
Return
Books can be returned at loan in the return boxes (located on floors 0 to 5 of Main Library, at entrance of Main Library and outside Sciences Building) and at the counter. When the return date approaches you will receive a reminder email.
Renewal
Works on loan will be automatically renewed until they reach issue maximum number of days, as long as they have not been reserved by another user. You can also renew them manually from the My Loans option,
Blockages and sanctions
For each day of delay in returning a document, loan will be blocked for another day.
Lost books
If a book is lost, user will contact the Secretary's Office at Library (tel. 948 425 600 ext. 802400) to arrange for the purchase of a new copy.
