Dr. Emilio Quintanilla Martínez gave a talk at lecture in Lodosa, in the parish of San Miguel, entitled La Virgen de las Angustias de Lodosa en el Arte.This event is part of those being held in the parish to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Canonical Coronation of this Marian image.

The lecture, which was attended by a large attendance audience, dealt with various iconographic, historical, aesthetic and stylistic aspects of the image in relation to the sculpture of its time. Patxi Roldán, a native of that town, and to whom we owe the recent restoration of the baroque shrine in which the image is kept, introduced the event and introduced the speaker.
