D. Ricardo Fernández Gracia.
University of Navarra

In addition to the lectures given by leading specialists in the subject, the course included a visit to contemplate some unique works of the convent of Augustinian Recollect Nuns of Pamplona, in partnership close to the cloistered religious community. The visit , which took place in the convent church, was guided by Professor Ricardo Fernández Gracia. Some of the works that the Pamplona cloister has kept for centuries, such as the images of the Virgin and Child by Juan de Anchieta, the Immaculate Conception by Manuel Pereira (1649) and the Soledad by Pedro de Mena, as well as some embroidered vestments from the 17th and 18th centuries and the large monstrance from the mid-17th century, were on display.
