One of the ways of entering photographs in the file of any Institution is through the transfer of documents by the organs that, in a natural way, produce them in the exercise of the functions that it performs.

The file Municipal of Pamplona conserves the transcript of attendance to the celebrations of the VII Centenary of the Battle of Navas de Tolosa of a commission of the leave Navarre, invited by the Municipal Corporation pamplonesa, previous agreement to defray the expenses that were derived of their stay in the City and to assign two councilmen for their attention.

The transcript contains copies, annotations, drafts and original documents issued by the City Council of Pamplona to formalize the invitation and justify the expenses incurred, as well as the original documents received, by virtue of the correspondence maintained with the Mayor of St. Jean Pied de Port, between July 1912 and April 1913.

In the letter of July 28, 1912, addressed to the Municipal Archivist, the mayor of St. Jean Pied de Port apologizes for not having written to him earlier to thank him for the many attentions he received, alleging that the delay was due to the fact that he wanted to send, at the same time as his letter, in addition to fourteen views of the city, three photographs of the delegation, with the request that two be delivered to the Secretaries of the City Hall and the Provincial Council of Navarre, respectively, and the third be accepted as a souvenir staff.

The need of the Navarrese chronicler Etayo, in his eagerness to give a detailed account of what happened in the celebration of the VII Centenary of the Navas de Tolosa, makes that, by a letter of April 27, 1913, the name of each one of the members of the committee Municipal of St. Jean Pied de Port who were part of the delegation is known. The names of each of the members of the Municipal Council of St. Jean Pied de Port who were part of the delegation of the Sixth Merindad, portrayed by the local photographer Erguy in the days immediately after their return from Pamplona, are known in a letter dated April 1913: Leon Larroque, Mayor; Pièrre Etchevers, attachment; Urbain Escande, Pièrre Jaime, Pièrre Bigot and Jean-Baptiste Alasnou.
