Goizueta: renovation after a fire
The town hall of Goizueta was built in local grayish stone, according to registration of the facade, in 1771, although part of the essence of the building was lost after the reform carried out in the nineteenth century as a result of a fire. At the beginning of the 20th century, in 1905, a source with the arms of the town was added to one of its sides.
Structurally it is configured as a prismatic block of great height whose ground plan leave is articulated around a stone arcade, with three half points on pillars, and one more on its side façade facing place. Aligned with them, on the upper levels -separated by flat bands- are the openings in issue of three, which on the third floor are associated in a continuous balcony resting on corbels. In the attic, the central bay is replaced by the coat of arms of the town (a passing deer), supported by two lions holding the lion's paw, and surmounted by a helmet and a lower mask.
