Goyaesque shields and ceramics

Between 1966 and 1971, heraldic emblems in stone and ceramic of illustrious surnames from Tudela and the towns of the Merindad were added to the second and third floors, as well as nine ceramic paintings of bullfighting themes based on Goya's "Tauromaquia" installed on the façade of the Holy Hospital. Three of the heraldic emblems attached to the Casa del Reloj belong to the 18th century. The first is Baroque and has a split interior with an eagle over a heart with seven bucklers and a tree with a wild boar. The second, rococo from the second half of the 18th century, sample the arms of the Marín family. The third, from the same period, shows the arms of Petriz de Cruzat Sarasa. All of them were the work of the local artist Anselmo Jiménez Blanco.
