The brain and its diseases: research in neurosciences

Third session of the"October with Cajal" series organized by the Science Museum to commemorate the Ramón y Cajal Year.

Marisol Aymerich (researcher at Cima University of Navarra), Maite Mendioroz (researcher and director of Navarrabiomed) and Alberto Pérez Mediavilla (researcher of Cima University of Navarra) will give this session in which they will talk about the new and revolutionary theory developed by Cajal, based on the idea that brain tissue is composed of individual cells: the neuron doctrine. This was the basis for modern research on brain diseases, such as Parkinson's or Alzheimer's disease.

The entrance is free prior registration in www.pamplonaescultura.es, calling 010, or in person at any center of the network Civivox.
