Astrid Sanchez completed the European Master's Degree in Food, Nutrition and Metabolism (E-MENU) in 2014.

"In 2014 I took the challenge to move from Guatemala to Pamplona to take the EuropeanMaster's Degree in Food, Nutrition and Metabolism (E-MENU). My goal as a nutritionist was to update and strengthen my knowledge," says Astrid Sanchez.

Astrid came to Master's Degree having worked in hospital, clinical, community, area professor and research nutrition. However, a year ago she decided to work at association for the Prevention and Study of HIV/AIDS - APEVIHS, in Guatemala. "Currently I support the Executive and Project Management creating innovative proposals for children, young people and disadvantaged women giving a comprehensive approach , contributing knowledge as a health professional," she says.

To this work, Astrid has decided to add professional experience as a professor at the Rafael Landívar University, where she guides and advises nutrition students in their final projects Degree to promote the scientific method and research in food and nutrition.

In addition, Astrid has her own private enquiry where she cares for children and adults suffering from metabolic diseases, helping them to choose healthy lifestyles. "With everything I have studied at the University of Navarra, I have been able to achieve a solid curriculum to dedicate myself to various areas of nutrition," she concludes.

The postgraduate program aims to provide a specific training to effectively develop activities in different areas related to Nutrition and its environment, both professionally and researcher.
