The University of Navarra Museum completes the first phase of its digital museum project

The Center has created a free downloadable app, and has published virtual tours and the collection online.

The Museo Universidad de Navarra has completed the first phase of its project "MUN Digital", with the international publication of three platforms aimed at users interested in receiving online information through the website and a new application. All will be enquiry online and free to download, available in Spanish andEnglish to, in line with the Museum's educational mission statement , facilitate the dissemination and learning of contemporary art.

The application

The main objectives of the application are to inform about the artistic program of the Museum to the interested Username and to provide the audio guides of all the exhibitions to accompany the visit to the Museum. You can access download for free from any latest generation mobile .

It has been developed with the partnership of the interactive area of the business TFEditores, a business that has been collaborating with the University of Navarra for many years.

The search engine Collection

On the other hand, at museo.unav.edu you will be able to see the complete collection of the Museum thanks to a powerful search engine. Classified by author, work, place, typology, technique, period, and theme, any researcher or Username will be able to access our collection, thus strengthening the educational work of the contemporary art center. Both the App and search engine have been developed by iTF Interactiva, the digital line of TF Editores, publishing house specialized in art publications.

Virtual tours

Virtual tours of the Museum's exhibitions will also be available. This tool has been developed by Vooivo, a business formed by alumni of the School of Engineers - Tecnun. From now on, people who have not been able to visit "North Africa. Ortiz Echagüe" and "El mundo al revés: el calotipo en España", exhibitions already removed, will be able to do it via web. The virtual visits are also of great interest to Friends of the Museum who do not live in Pamplona, as well as to people from other cities and countries interested in seeing the exhibitions.

The digital project will continue at development for at least two more years.
