The architect Miguel Alonso Flamarique (1977) has won a competition in Santa Marinella (Italy) to build the town hall of this town near Rome. This graduate of the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra won with his proposal against 168 candidates who entered the competition competition.

The work was prepared together with an Italian architect and two Portuguese collaborators. The execution project is scheduled to be presented in the first semester of 2005. "We are proud to be able to realize this work. In the competition there was a lot of skill, since there were Italian architects who knew the characteristics of the site better than I did," he said.

Miguel Alonso has worked in his short professional career in two offices programs of study: in the office of Miguel Ángel Alonso del Val in Pamplona, for one year; and in the office of Carlos Ferrater in Barcelona for three years.
