Looking at art from the perspective of diversity is the focus of the Museum's activities to celebrate International Museum Day.

From May 18 to 21, entrance to the Museum will be free of charge and will offer activities adapted to seniors and children, people with different needs due to their mobility, hearing level or risk of social exclusion.

The Museum celebrates the 40th edition of International Museum Day with the programming of activities that facilitate the approach and integration in the Museum to diverse people. The idea is to concentrate on these commemorative days the offer of visits and workshops for different groups usually offered by the Museum's Educational area , whose manager is Fernando Echarri: "our elderly, children, people with reduced mobility , groups at risk of social exclusion, those interested in preventing or treating Alzheimer's disease and people with reduced hearing, among others, can visit the Museum's exhibitions with our team of guides specialized in attending to this diversity".

Thus, from May 18 to 21schedule of usual opening of the Museum, will be offered: a greater issue of guided tours for the general public (two daily visits, 12h and 18h), guided tours and workshops for people with different needs, free entrance to the Museum, the store will offer special discounts: 15% products and 30% publications and will be raffled among attendees tickets for the concert of the Symphony Orchestra of the Higher Conservatory of Music of Navarra to be held at the theater on May 24.

There are five exhibitions to be visited. The José Ortiz Echagüe Space y the rooms with the collection of María Josefa Huartecollection, as well as the three recently inaugurated temporary exhibitions: Sikka Ingentium by Daniel Canogar, In Time by Carlos Cánovas and Aurelia Immortal by Javier Viver.

Other areas of the museum to visit, in addition to the exhibition halls and the theater, are the roof of the Museum building (walkable space, located on the second floor), one of the favorite places for visitors to contemplate the campus and take photographs. And the Museum Restaurant, which has just opened a terrace area on the esplanade, with new equipment and furniture, where visitors can apply for cafeteria services after visit to the exhibitions.
