Patricia Lopez and Zinnia Parra, recognized at the National End of the Year Awards degree program
The students of Human Nutrition and Dietetics and Pharmacy of the University of Navarra have been awarded thanks to their records by the Ministry of Education and Science.
Patricia López Legarrea and Zinnia Patricia Parra Guillén, graduates in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and Pharmacy respectively, have obtained the third prize award and a special accredited specialization in the last call of the National End of Degree Awards degree program.
In addition to the two graduates of School of Pharmacy, six other alumni of the University of Navarra have been awarded in the edition of academic year 2007-2008: Aitor Erdozain Ibarra -second award in Telecommunications Engineering-, María Cruz de Miguel Jiménez -second in advertising and Public Relations-, Ane Fabo Aranzabal -first in Telecommunications Engineering-, Rosalía de las Rivas Astiz -first in Industrial Engineering-, Samuel Negredo Bruna -second in Journalism-, and Ignacio María Granado Fernández de la Pradilla -third in Business Administration and Management (ADE).
About her award, Zinnia Patricia Parra, who is currently doing the doctorate at department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology, admits that she did not expect the accredited specialization, of which she is very proud. Patricia López, for her part, has also begun her doctoral thesis at department in Food Sciences, Physiology and Toxicology. In her opinion, this reward "is a award to the effort and encourages her to continue working in the future".
The awards, granted by the Ministry of Education and Science, have as goal distinguish the students who have completed their university studies with the greatest brilliance programs of study . The first prizes receive an endowment of 3,300 euros from the Ministry; the second prizes of 2,650 euros and the third prizes of 2,200 euros.
