The exhibition 3/3/3 (3 projects / 3 mentions / 3 weeks) gathers a representative sample of three of the eight projects carried out during the course by the first year students of the Degree in design of the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra. It can be visited first at Central Building, until Tuesday, May 3; then at Amigos Building and from May 9 at Science Library.

"This exhibition seeks to bring what has been done during the course closer to the University, giving visibility to the most innovative part of Degree which are the "umbrella projects", in which all the subjects of the course are involved. We have chosen these three projects because each of them is linked to one of the mentions of Degree: "Serigraphy", to the accredited specialization Product; "Patterns" to the accredited specialization Fashion; and "Packaging" to the accredited specialization Service", explains Carlos Chocarro, coordinator of Degree.

The students have carried out eight "umbrella projects" during this course, each of them at partnership with a professional specialized in the subject corresponding to project: "Typography" (1st) with graphic designer and typographer Octavio Pardo; "Colour" (2nd) with painter Alejandro Häsler; "Scale" (3rd) with architect Manolis Stavrakakis; "Patterns" (4th), with fashion designer Miriam Ocáriz; "Material" (5th) with Italian architect Fabrizio Pierandrei; "Seriation" (6th) with Tim Karoleff; "Packaging" (7th) with Italian designer Marta Bernstein and "Recycling" (8th) with industrial designer Francesco Faccin, from Italy.

The Degree at design began to be taught at the University of Navarra this academic year 2016-17. The Study program stands out for its bilingualism, with the first course taught entirely in English; the teaching by projects, which is what this exhibition includes; and the proximity to the professional reality of the world of design, through workshops with professionals from the sector as well as masterclasses and lectures by designers from reference letter such as Marc Sadler, Baruc Corazón or Teresa Sapey. The Study program also includes two one-week workshops, one of them in Madrid and the other, of international character, which will be next week in Milan (Italy); they have also worked other workshops with the designer Alicia Otaegui; a Chinese calligraphy workshop with Fang Lien Chow or, in the first semester, others with Domitila Dardi, Jon Cazenave, Federico Clavarino and Alejandro Marote.
