Alfredo Aracil, in the modality of Composition, has been awarded with the award Nacional de Música 2015. The award, awarded annually by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, is endowed with 30,000 euros. The jury has decided to propose, by majority, the award to Alfredo Aracil Ávila,"for his extensive creative career at the highest international level; for his ability to combine extreme novelty with the most subtle poetic expression, and for the great originality of his sound proposals, which approach other arts".

Siempre/Todavía. Ópera sin voces is his latest musical creation accompanied by the illustrations of Alberto Corazón, award Nacional de design (1989) and performed for solo piano by Juan Carlos Garvayo, award Nacional de Música (2013).
