The University of Navarra awards six new PhDs in Pharmacy
Ángel J. Gómez Montoro, President of the University of Navarra, presided over the investiture ceremony.
The University of Navarra recently celebrated the investiture ceremony of 160 new doctors, who over the last year defended their thesis doctoral degrees. Among them was the presence of eight new doctors of Pharmacy: Aitziber Aguinaga Pérez, Cristina Arandio Ereño, Elena Beltrán de Miguel, Elena Bujanda Sáinz de Murieta, Natalia Elizalde Urdiain, Víctor López Ramos, Cristina Ormazábal Goicoechea and Ana Lourdes Ricobaraza Abarquero.
The ceremony was presided over by the President of the University of Navarra, Ángel J. Gómez Montoro, who affirmed that the love of truth is the most important aspect of the university training : "This is the most valuable thing that, in my opinion, the doctorate provides you with, the university spirit. Love for the truth as the driving force of intellectual activity and as an attitude towards life". This conviction, he said, is a "fundamentalbequest of the stage that ends today for you and a compass for the one that begins today, an idea of great value in the times in which we live".
For his part, José Manuel Pozo, professor at School of Architecture and Now that they have seen how expensive it is to know a little about something very small, they should start working seriously to try to really know something about something.
