The third edition of #LabmeCrazy! Science Film Festival -competition organized by the Science Museum of the University of Navarra - already has the finalist productions. In total 35 selected works from 15 different countries: United States, France, United Kingdom, Germany, Romania, Belgium, Israel, India, Costa Rica, Canada, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Mexico, Turkey, and Spain. Among the Spanish works in the final phase are productions from Barcelona, Castellón, Madrid, Murcia and Guipúzcoa.

The topics covered in these productions range from ecology, species survival, gastronomy, medicine, astronomy, virology and evolution, among others.

The finalists are eligible for the highest recognition in the following festival categories : Documentary and Feature; Television Program; Student Production; work produced or co-produced by a university and video for web or social media. 

The winners in each category will be chosen in the coming months by a jury multidisciplinary formed by Rebeca Fernández, sales director of Off the Fence (The Netherlands); filmmaker Jaime Jacobsen (United States); Mónica González, student of doctorate at the University of Navarra; scientist and popularizer Lluís Montoliu; and Samuel Negredo, professor at School of Communication at the University of Navarra.

The winners will be announced on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at the Festival's awards ceremony submission to be held at auditorium of the University of Navarra Museum.

#LabmeCrazy! Science Film Festival is an international science film festival competition promoted by the Science Museum of the University of Navarra -with the partnership of the Government of Navarra, Pamplona City Council, Laboral Kutxa, the Ministry of Science and Innovation and the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT)- and that has as goal bring science to new generations.
