On 1 April, the University of Navarra hosted the submissionawards ceremony of the 11th Navarre Olympiad of Philosophy, in which 79 students from high school diplomaand 4th year of ESO from 12 schools took part. Lorena Bea, from IES Benjamín de Tudela, and Iratxe Ciordia, from Escuela de Artes y Superior de designde Corella, have won the first prize awardin the category of essayand philosophical photography respectively. The winners will represent the Autonomous Community of Navarre in the Spanish Philosophical Olympiad, to be held on 29 April.

Lucía Sánchez Torres, from IES Benjamín de Tudela (2nd award); and Víctor Domingo Martín, from IES Navarro Villoslada (3rd award) also received awards at modalityde essay. Maialen Llivi, from high schoolSan Ignacio; Eunate Sáez, from high schoolSagrado Corazón; and Asia Barale, from IES Benjamín de Tudela, received runners-up prizes. In the modalityphilosophical photography category, Uxue Bayerri, from high schoolEscolapios Calasanz; and Aroa Martín Souto, from high schoolSagrado Corazón, won the second and third prizes respectively award. 

Alejandro Martínez Carrasco, lecturer at the Schoolof Philosophyand Letters at the University of Navarra and one of the organisers, said that the organisers are very happy with the participation and the developmentof the Olympiad: "Once again this year we have been able to see the interest that Philosophyarouses among young people. This year's topicinvited them to reflect on something as current and close to them as the impact of technology on our lives and whether it is necessary to set limits". He also stressed that "we were struck by how the participants felt a sense of responsibility to think about this topic, because it is going to be one of the great challenges they will face in their future lives and they do not want others to decide for them".
