The School of Theology organizes a workshop on Romano Guardini
The event takes place shortly after advertisement of the opening of the cause for the beatification of the Italian-German philosopher.
Next Thursday, March 15, there will be a workshop on Romano Guardini, an outstanding philosopher and theologian of the 20th century, on the 50th anniversary of his death and the 100th anniversary of "The Spirit of the Liturgy", one of his most significant books and one of the most influential in the Second Vatican Council.
Aimed at a general audience, the first session "The training of young people according to Guardini" will be given by Professor Juan Luis Lorda, with Professors Elisabeth Reinhardt and José Manuel Fidalgo. It is of special interest in view of the upcoming celebration of the Synod of Bishops. The second lecture, "One Hundred Years of Guardini's Spirit of the Liturgy", will be given by Professor Eduardo Torres, with Professors Félix María Arocena and Alfonso Berlanga.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1.45 p.m. at classroom 1 of the Schools Ecclesiastical and is free of charge attendance.
