The University of Navarra students Elvira Coello, from the CommunicationSchool , and Antonio Porta, María Cristina Bravo de Layana, Javier Alvarenga, Javier Muruzabal, Mar Toledo, Eric Laqueche, José Ramón Román, Borja Miguel and Maider Patricia Aguinaga from the Economics and Law Schools , have been selected by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation for their summer internship program .
They are part of a total of 118 students from different Spanish universities who will carry out internships between June and September 2013 in countries such as the Philippines, the United States, Israel, Egypt, Morocco, Thailand, Brazil, Russia and Chile, among others.
The program is the result of a partnership agreement signed last year between the Foundation business University of Navarra and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As sample of this partnership, two representatives of the Ministry presented internship program to more than 100 students of the University in November. The internships in Consulates and Embassies, despite not being paid by the Ministry, "can give a broad vision of what the foreign service and the diplomatic degree program entail for everyone," they explained.
