Teachers and students of Master's Degree E-Menu participate in Nutri-Neuro 2015

Professors and students of the EuropeanMaster's Degree in Food, Nutrition and Metabolism (E-Menu) of the School of Pharmacy of the University of Navarra attended the eighth annual meeting on Nutrition and Neurosciences(8th meeting Nutrition-Neurosciences, Nutri-Neuro 2015), organized by the University of Bordeaux (France) and held at the Functional Genomic Center of the same city.
The School of Pharmacy collaborates with this symposium since its inception. On this occasion, Professor Alfredo Martínez attended the meeting together with the students of the postgraduate program. In addition, professors María Jesús Moreno, with the discussion paper entitled"Obesity, inflammation and metabolic dysfunctions: effects of omega-3 fatty acids"; and María Javier Ramírez, with a lecture on"Insulin, brain metabolic dysfunction and Alzheimer's disease" also took part in the congress .
The rest of the sessions addressed issues such as the relationship of per diem expenses with other cerebrovascular diseases or schizophrenia and the role of autophagy in the regulation of energy balance, among others.
