Thirteen University of Navarra students receive diaconate ordination

Leonardo Lemos, Bishop of Ourense, conferred the diaconate to thirteen students of the School of Theology of the University of Navarra, seminarians of the seminar International Bidasoa. During the celebration, in the parish of St. Nicholas of Pamplona, they were accompanied by family, friends, professors and students of the Schools Ecclesiastical and numerous faithful.

In his homily, Bishop Leonardo Lemos encouraged the ordained not to be afraid and pointed out that "the Lord wants to come on board your existence, he trusts you; he only asks you to open your heart and let yourself be filled with his spirit". He also encouraged them to be authentic missionaries of the Gospel message and to live the priestly spirit with availability: "You, who belong to different countries of the Catholic Church, are significant exponents of the vast world that is waiting to be evangelized with your hearts converted into missionary disciples".

The orderly are: Kenny Ang (Indonesia), John Alfred Buyao Millado (Philippines), Adán Cortez Villegas (Mexico), José Carlos da Cruz Luna (Brazil), Rubén Alejandro de Lara (Mexico), Jean-Germain Latus (Haiti), Carlos Ernesto Martínez Bolaños (El Salvador), Jesús Humberto Pérez Girón (Mexico), Edson Gerardo Quispe Yana (Peru), Luis Mario Reyes Díaz (Mexico), Francisco Javier Rivas Tobal (Nicaragua), Ignatius Sadewo Setiabudi (Indonesia) and Simón Jesús Silloca Quico (Peru).
