The BAC (Library Services de Autores Cristianos) has published the second and last volume of the The Complete Works of St. Cyprian of Carthage in a bilingual edition, edited by the professor of the School of Theology of Theology at the University of Navarra , Juan Antonio Gil-Tamayo. In addition to the works of the Bishop of Carthage, this volume includes some of the treatises and writings of the Pseudo-Cyprian, as well as the Vita Cypriani of the deacon Pontius, the conference proceedings of his martyrdom and the sermons preached by St. Augustine in honor of the martyr St. Cyprian. The volume includes an extensive introduction to the treatises presented.

St. Cyprian (early third century - September 14, 258) became bishop of Carthage for a decade, guiding the African Church with firmness and authority in a period of serious crisis, marked by persecutions, plague and schisms, showing a great Christian personality and admirable gifts as a pastor close and attentive to the needs of the faithful. All his literary production derives directly from his zeal and pastoral activity. His mission statement was crowned with the palm of martyrdom, something that contributed to confirm and extend his fame beyond the confines of Africa and his time, until he became an ideal figure of bishop and martyr.
