More than 45 Pharmacy students participate in the I seminar "Scientists and business" of the University of Navarra.
More than 45 students participated in the I seminar "Scientists and business" of the School of Pharmacy of the University of Navarra. The goal of the sessions, organized in partnership with the Chair Bancaja Young Entrepreneurs of the academic center, was to make known the different employment opportunities of the students of this licentiate degree in relation to the business world.
The first session, at position by Fernando Sánchez-Carpintero, director administrative of research center Applied Medicine (CIMA), was a workshop on degree program research in a center such as CIMA. Afterwards, Sara Equiza, deputy director of the high school Científico y Tecnológico de Navarra (OTRI of the University of Navarra), presented the possibility of self-employment and other topics of interest such as the transfer of scientific and technology results.
Likewise, Carlos González Ojer, former student of the School of Pharmacy and founder of Ojer Pharma, presented his experience of creating his own business and the leap he made from research to business degree program . Finally, Dámaso Molero, also graduate of the School of Pharmacy and with more than 20 years of experience in the biotechnology sector, spoke about his professional career, highlighting the different technical and business positions he has held until his appointment as director general manager of 3P Biopharmaceutical.
