Twenty-nine members of the Royal Academy of Pharmacy of Catalonia - with its president José María Ventura at the head - have visited the campus and the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition of the University of Navarra. The visit is part of a round of trips that this institution makes to all the academies of pharmacy and Schools of Spain, with the goal "to enhance its value and to make ourselves known, at the same time that we share the pharmaceutical and teaching values with the centers we visit," said one of its members, Miquel Ylla-Catalá.

The members of the visiting expedition - mostly pharmacists and people interested in the area- were welcomed at the campus by Professor Juan Manuel Irache, academic of the institution, and by the director of development of the School, Alfonso Vericat. Together with them, they visited the Central Building and then went to the Hexagon Building, where they were joined at group by the dean of the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition, Adela López de Cerain.

Dr. Julián García Rafanell, full member of the Academy and member of the academic committee -who spoke on "Recommendations of the Academy: a reasoned proposal on current issues"; and Dr. Gabriel Reina, professor of the School, who gave a talk on "Can we solve the global threat of superbugs?".

Finally, Dr. Miquel Ylla-Catalá closed the event by thanking the entire expedition to the University "for its kind welcome and especially to the academics from Pamplona who also participated in the event".
