The Clínica Universidad de Navarra has been recognized, for the second year in a row, as the best private hospital in Spain, according to the Health Reputation Monitor (MRS). The healthcare reputation index has made public the results of its second edition obtained from a survey survey of 2,794 professionals in the sector. The Clinic has also obtained the best overall reputation (of the total of the 100 public and private hospitals evaluated) in the analysis of indicators according to quality objectives and clinical management .

Of the 31 private hospitals analyzed, the Clínica became the highest-rated private hospital with 10,000 points, ahead of HM Universitario Sanchinarro (6,615 points) and Hospital Universitario Quirón de Madrid (6,614 points). On this occasion, almost 2,800 professionals: specialist doctors, family and community medicine doctors, nurses, patient associations, health journalists and hospital pharmacists, evaluated the hospitals with the best reputation in terms of their services in two categories according to their ownership, public or private.

As for the public network , the MRS has recognized the Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid as the one with the best reputation (10,000 points), a center that also reaffirms its recognition, followed by the Hospital Clinic Provincial de Barcelona (8,491 points) and the Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre in Madrid (7,491 points).

By specialty

For public and private hospitals as a whole, the ranking establishes a evaluation by medical specialties, which account for 90% of hospital activity. La Clínica is among the top ten ranked in the specialization program of Digestive System, Cardiology, General Surgery and Digestive System, Medical and Surgical Dermatology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Neurology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Medical Oncology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, and Urology.

It should be noted that the data obtained from the opinions of the professionals surveyed are cross-referenced with nearly 900 quality and clinical management indicators, for which a total of 70 major hospitals have provided their data, including the Clinic. A further 30 hospitals provided their public data .

The MRS is an independent study that does not receive any funding from subsidy , but is financed through the commercialization of confidential reports. The methodology used for the elaboration of the ranking of hospital services with the best reputation by specialization program and hospitals with the best reputation has undergone an independent review by KPMG (rule ISAE3000), and has been endorsed by the medical and nursing associations, as well as by patient associations and healthcare journalists.
