Héctor García-Diego, new Deputy Director of the School of Architecture

The President of the University of Navarra, Alfonso Sánchez-Tabernero, has appointed Héctor García-Diego Deputy Director de la School of Architecture.

Héctor García-Diego is an architect by the University, with award Extraordinary End of Degree degree program. He received his doctorate with A cum laude and later received the award Extraordinary from doctorate. He was awarded a grant by The Getty Foundation to do research at The Getty Research Institute (Los Angeles) and has been a Visiting Scholar at GSAPP Columbia University (New York). The results of his research have resulted in several individual and collective publications, as well as papers at international conferences. In 2016 he received the accreditation from the National Agency for Assessment of Quality and Accreditation as Associate Professor.

Since 2007 he has been a professor at department of Theory, Projects and Urban Planning, of which he has been secretary (2013-16) and, to date, Deputy Director. He has been coordinator of the School's Cultural Activities Office program and secretary of the congress International History of Modern Spanish Architecture in three of its editions.
