Kenny Ang is 25 years old and is from Jakarta, Indonesia. On Sundays he can be seen playing the organ in the chapel of Clínica Universidad de Navarra, at 5 pm mass. More than seeing, he can be heard playing because the organ is located upstairs in the choir. Perhaps that is why he feels comfortable, because it allows him to be a little closer to God.

He arrived four years ago in Pamplona, where he was trained in the School Theology at the University and at the Bidasoa International Ecclesiastical high school . His priestly vocation has always been with him, although he explains that it was in Missouri (USA), at the age of 18, when he became fully aware of it.

At that time he was studying Music at Missouri Western State University with a scholarship which he accessed after finishing high school and Diploma Piano. During the time he lived in the United States, he went to a Catholic university, the Catholic Newman Center, along with other students from different Schools. "It was the first time I saw firsthand how the priesthood is lived one hundred percent, 24 hours a day," he says. She met a confessor from the Priestly Society of the Holy Cross who was Colombian. He helped him to make the difficult decision: to change the degree program of Music for the priestly vocation.

Having completed two of the four years of degree program, he returned to Indonesia. "At first my parents were surprised, but they were very happy for me and now that they see me happy they are very happy," he says.

With the support of a priest of the Opus Dei Prelature, he presented himself to the bishop of the diocese of Surabaya, a town located one hour by plane from Jakarta. He told him that he was ready to be "a priest as the Church wants him to be". After a few months of spiritual retreat and reflection, the bishop of Surabaya sent him to the University of Navarra for training.

He is sample very grateful for all the financial aid received from the benefactors who have made it possible for him to study at the University. He is currently in his last year of high school diploma. According to him, he would like to be a priest wherever the Church needs him.
