"Julio Cano Lasso is a classic among the Spanish masters of the twentieth century. His works are landscape made architecture; modernity without attributes with a vocation for permanence. Being modern, Cano Lasso did not pretend to 'be fashionable' and that is why he remains current," notes Juan Luis Roquette. "His works are still today true lessons in sustainability. They have the capacity to improve those enclaves where they are set with resounding force, respecting nature and without altering its essence."
