University of Navarra professor Francisco Guillén, accredited as Full Professor de Preventive Medicine and Public Health
Dr. Francisco Guillén Grima, professor at the University of Navarra, has obtained the accreditation as Full Professor of Preventive Medicine and Public Health, granted by the National Agency of assessment of the Quality and accreditation ( National Agency for Assessment of Quality and Accreditation). Dr. Francisco Guillén has been a professor at School of Medicine and consultant of the Preventive Medicine Unit of the University of Navarra since 2005. Clínica Universidad de Navarra since 2005.
Born in Cartagena (Murcia), he graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Murcia (1982) and obtained the doctorate from the same center in 1987. In 1988 he studied a Master's Degree in Management and Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Murcia. From 1988 to 1990 he was scholarship recipient Fullbright at Harvard University, where he obtained a Master's Degree in Public Health and Health Administration (MPH) in 1989 and a Master in Epidemiology (MSc) in 1990.
He is the author of 70 articles in indexed journals, has directed 31 doctoral thesis and has presented more than 120 communications at national and international conferences. He is also the principal researcher of three regional, three national and three European projects and one project of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) of the USA. His research has focused on Epidemiology and Health Administration and management .
