The designer from Madrid, Baruc Corazónvisited the School of Architecture the University of Navarra on February 17 and offered a lecture entitled "What's next?" in which he shared his vision and experience in the creative field with the students of Degree at design.

From the beginning he structured the talk in several questions: What is design, what does creativity feed on, how does fashion influence society, "The designer is like an antenna for society and creativity is the means to spread it. As a designer everything you do has an effect and everything you design can heal something in society," he said.

In his mission statement for designing classic and unique models, Corazón, has managed to create his own internationally recognized style thanks to his Baruc Shirt and his unmistakable shirt collar. "The creative has to be in a state of constant search. This is how the idea, the eureka, comes about. That's why I was inspired by the shirt because it is the most universal garment. I realized that the tie was no longer worn so much and that there was a need to reinvent collars."

Through his long career in the fashion world, Corazón, who has worked with other great designers such as Jesús del Pozo, made a reflection on the prominence that fashion has been acquiring in the day to day. "Fashion is the product that has the greatest potential for seduction, the most vital, with a high capacity for propagation. I consider fashion as the bomb of design".

Degree at design with accredited specialization in fashion

This talk is part of the conferences organized for the students of the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra with the aim of bringing them closer to real professional careers and promoting the approach to recognized figures, both in the world of design and in the world of Architecture.

In this case, the lecture was aimed primarily at students taking the Degree in design, in the accredited specialization in design Fashion. The lecture could be followed live through EscuelaLive, an initiative of the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra, to broadcast in streaming all the conferences that take place in the School.
