The high school Les Alzines de Girona wins the award for the best video at the competition Nutrivideo of the University of Navarra.

More than 400 students from high school diploma from all over Spain have produced 95 videos for a contest that aims to promote healthy habits among young people.

Just Remember, the video presented by students from high school diploma from high school Les Alzines de Girona, has won the award for the best video in the 4th edition of competition Nutrivideo, the audiovisual contest promoted by Chair for Nutrition Tomás Pascual-University of Navarra.

In the category of most viewed video, award went to high school Nuestra Señora del Recuerdo (Madrid), for work "+ tu salud", with more than 8,000 views on the Nutrivideo YouTube channel.

The submission awards ceremony took place today at the Science Library building of the academic center, where students participated in a workshop to familiarize themselves with the interpretation of nutritional labeling of food, the measurement of body fat or various tips for healthy eating at position of professionals and researchers of the area Nutrition.

In total, more than 400 students from high school diploma from all over Spain have participated this year in the Nutrivideo contest, a proposal nutritional Education contest that aims to promote healthy lifestyles among young people through the production of informative videos on subject. The participants have submitted 95 videos that have exceeded 30,000 reproductions on the YouTube channel.

In addition to the two winning schools in the categories of best video and most viewed video - which have obtained, respectively, an iPad for each member of group and a computer for the center, and an interactive whiteboard for high school- four other schools were finalists as best works: the schools Fuenllana of Madrid, Zalima of Cordoba, IES Sierra de Leyre of Sangüesa and Bell-Lloc of Girona.

1,200 students and 300 videos
Throughout the four editions of the contest, 1,200 students have submitted 300 videos that have achieved more than 150,000 reproductions on the YouTube Channel. The students have come from 130 schools throughout Spain and other countries, such as Uruguay, Costa Rica and India, who have also joined this initiative to promote healthy lifestyle habits among young people.

Among the novelties of the last edition were the sessions on nutrition and health given by professors and researchers from the University of Navarra in the participating centers and schools. Their goal: to provide young people with the training and the necessary tools so that they themselves can be the protagonists of their own learning in the field of food and health.

The initiative is supported by the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, the Government of Navarra and group Antena 3, through the El Estirón campaign.
