Civivox Iturrama will host, until June 24, the exhibition "Dadaism and Conceptual Art", composed of 73 works by students of Architecture of the University of Navarra.

The opening of the sample was attended by the director of the School, Mariano González Presencio, the conceptual artist Alicia Otaegui, the professor coordinator of the event, Carlos Chocarro, and the professor of Architecture Mª Antonia Frías. The exhibition puts an end to a cycle with the same name, which has been developed in recent months at the University of Navarra.

Consumerism, recycling, poverty, infinity or criticism of the system are some of the themes chosen by the students, which have been translated into assemblies with different materials, forms and also with the use of technology through photography and video. "The works are basically assemblies of installations and it is worth mentioning the presence of five audiovisual productions and some mixed works that collect in a video the process and development of the action along with the result", says Professor Carlos Chocarro.

The cycle "Dadaism and Conceptual Art" is organized by the area of Cultural Activities Office and the School of Architecture, under the coordination of Professor Carlos Chocarro. The program began on February 16 with the lecture of the professor of the University of Barcelona and art critic Anna Maria Guasch and continued on March 9, with a session at position by Professor of Aesthetics and Art Theory José Díaz Cuyás, from the University of La Laguna.

Finally, there was a practical workshop led by the artist Alicia Otaegui in which the students made different conceptual compositions with materials from the furniture of the School of Architecture.
