The state of alarm decreed in the country has led the population to confine themselves to their homes. In recent days, hundreds of solidarity initiatives have been launched, with the aim of alleviating, as far as possible, the suffering and loneliness of the people. goal .

Spending the hours, the days, locked up at home is, in many occasions, a great restlessness. With the goal of "being a breeze in the burrows" and to liven up the confinement, a group of students of the School of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Navarra, in partnership with students from other universities, has edited "Madriguera", an anthology of poems, stories and illustrations composed during the first days of quarantine.

"The status we are living is historic, and in this confinement creative ingenuity can flourish. We seek to collect these particular experiences, to create a time capsule of this unique moment," explains Ana Sanchez-Reig, 3rd year student of Degree in Literature and Creative Writing (LEC) and public relations of project. In addition to fostering the creativity of its authors, she adds that "we want to offer the public empathy, aesthetic pleasure and entertainment".

As they explain, they intend for the project to continue to expand and improve. If anyone would be interested in participating with their writings or drawings, they can contact the coordinators on their Instagram account, @geometria_poesia.
