The Chair María Egea has announced two scholarships to carry out the Master's Degree in internship Advanced and management in Nursing at the University of Navarra next academic year 2015-2016. The grants,quantified at 5,000 euros, can be apply for at the School of Nursing until May 31.

The call is aimed at young graduates or graduates in Nursing with the goal of promote and encourage their career guidance towards research in the discipline and contribute to a better care of the person, family and community. For María Ángeles Villalba, a scholarship recipient this year, having received this scholarship "has been a great opportunity to continue with my programs of study in a Master's Degree unique in Spain that financial aid to establish a clear scale of priorities".

María Egea Chair

The Chair María Egea was created in 2007 to channel, from the School of Nursing of the University of Navarra, the commitment to training and research in nursing discipline , promoting activities to deepen the principles that underpin it and generate new useful knowledge to provide better care to the person, their family and the community.

María Egea, a young nurse from Madrid, was diagnosed in 2003 with an osteosarcoma for which she decided to be treated in the Clínica Universidad de Navarra. Her joy, deep love of life and others, as well as her acceptance and courage with which she faced the disease, left a mark on those who treated her. To keep that mark alive, his family and the School de Enfermería created this Chair.
