Ramón Salaverría, Full Professor of Journalism at the University of Navarra, has been distinguished with the award to the researcher of the Year in the Roblón awards, granted by the Revista Latina de Comunicación Social. 

This publication is among the most prestigious of the area Communication and is in the first quartile in the ranking of academic journals. The recognition is made by virtue of its rigor and contribution to academia and society. 

Ramón Salaverría, born in Burgos, is Full Professor of Journalism at the University of Navarra. He is a leading author in the field of Digital Communication and a reference in the research on media in Ibero-America. He directs the research center Digital Unav - Center for Internet Studies and Digital Life, and advises the committee of Europe as an expert in sustainability of journalistic media. 

He also leads a European project on disinformation in the Iberian Peninsula, Iberifier, and participates in several groups of research. He has recently entered the Stanford University ranking that selects the most cited researchers in the world in different disciplines. The journal recognizes that "his research work has had and continues to have an impact A".

The submission awards ceremony will be held at the framework of the XV congress International LATINA de Comunicación Social on November 23rd.
