The School School of Theology of the University of Navarra celebrated on Saturday, May 27, the End of degree program ceremony for 46 of its students; 25 are part of the XLIX promotion of licentiate degree in Theology and 21 are part of the LI promotion of high school program in Theology. During the ceremony, submission presented the scholarships, medals and diplomas to the recent graduates.

The workshop began at 10 a.m. with the Holy Mass celebrated at the chapel of the School of Communication by the sponsor of both graduating classes, José Ramón Villar. Afterwards, they moved on to the Ecclesiastical Building of the Schools where the Academic Ceremony took place, presided over by the Associate Dean of the School, César Izquierdo and by the director of programs of study, José María Pardo.

In their speeches, the students Rafael Rezende and Luis Enrique Palacios, delegates of licentiate degree and high school program in Theology respectively, showed their gratitude for the "great moments of learning and friendship," said Rafael Rezende. Likewise, Luis Enrique Palacios, in addition to his gratitude, focused his speech on the simultaneous sadness and joy felt at the end of the programs of study.

The sponsor of the promotion reminded them that now is the time to move for oneself: "Freedom is not to do whatever I want, but to love what I do. The freedom of Christians is based on the life of Jesus Christ, no one takes his life away from him but submission for love. Who loves nothing, nothing moves him".

Finally, the Associate Dean of the School, César Izquierdo in his speech explained that with this act "the process ends and the return begins", and therefore it is time to put in internship what has been learned. For this he used the words of St. Paul, which are the motto of the Archbishop of Tarragona and former student and professor of the School, D. Jaume Pujol: "What you have learned, teach it" (Quae audisti doce). He also invited them to participate in the 50th anniversary celebrations of the School which will take place on Friday, October 6, 2017.
