Ramón y Cajal: the scientist and his time

First session of the"October with Cajal" series organized by the Science Museum to commemorate the Ramón y Cajal Year.

José Ramón Alonso (Full Professor of Cell Biology at the University of Salamanca) and Cristina Nombela (researcher at the Autonomous University of Madrid) will give this session in which the figure of Ramón y Cajall, one of the most important and influential scientists of the early twentieth century, will be analyzed. A scientist and humanist, he created a school. The Spanish Civil War dispersed most of his collaborators. A separate accredited specialization should be dedicated to the forgotten women of Cajal's school.

The entrance is free prior registration in www.pamplonaescultura.es, calling 010, or in person at any center of the network Civivox.
