Cajal's sky

Second session of the"October with Cajal" series organized by the Science Museum to commemorate the Ramón y Cajal Year.

Fernando Jáuregui (astrophysicist of the Pamplona Planetarium) and Javier Armentia (director of the Pamplona Planetarium) will give this session in which they will present the autobiography of Ramón y Cajal in which he recalls an event that marked him as a child: the solar eclipse of 1860. In the Pamplona Planetarium* they will reproduce this historical eclipse and will tour the sky as Cajal knew it in his youth. We will see how the great Structures of the Universe show us a distribution similar to that of neurons in the human brain.

* Invitations can be collected one hour before at locker of the Pamplona Planetarium.
