18. Sagrado Corazón, Calle Compañía 2, bis
 

On the façade of this house, at the level of the second floor slab, a high relief of the Sacred Heart is preserved, framed with a simple embouchure that slightly penetrates the wall. Since the publication of the encyclical Annum Sacrum, with which Pope Leo XIII consecrated the world to the Sacred Heart, and even in the years before, in many private houses, plaques with an image of the Sacred Heart were placed on the door of entrance as well as on the facades. Some of them can still be found in the streets of the Historical Center of Pamplona, but in no case do they have the entity and characteristics of this high relief that, due to its shape, resembles the traditional niches of the neighborhood.
