On the slope of Santo Domingo. The niche was made in 1981 by order of the City Council, responding to the request made by the sub-commission of the running of the bulls in the Special Commission of San Fermin Festivities, to have a niche in which to keep the image of the Saint that since 1979 has been placed in that area and that continues a tradition, begun in 1965 or 1966, whereby before starting the running of the bulls the runners who are going to run it turn to the Saint asking for his protection. Embedded in the wall, the hole topped with a semicircular arch is framed by a flat and wide stone molding.
