The School brings together more than one hundred companies during the 16/17 academic year.
New positions in the rankings, the alumni presence in the School or the students' initiative, reflected in the report at the end of the course.
The School of Economics closes academic year 2016/17 with the presentation of the report to the professors and staff of administration and services in the Senate of the School. The visit of 101 companies to the School; more than 237 activities for, students, prospective students and alumni; and 7 new partner universities are some of the figures.
It should be noted that the students of School organized a total of 22 activities on their own initiative, such as the NATO simulation: Youth Mediterranean Dialogue, the congress BUMP, the Marketing Club sessions. In addition, a total of 283 students are members of School clubs such as the Trading Club or the Case Competition Club.
In the area of research, close to 30 seminars have been given by national and international professors. In addition, 12 professors from School have received awards from various publications in recognition of their work at research, and a total of four books have been published.
The international area has been strengthened with the signature of 7 new agreements with partner universities in France, Germany, the Philippines, the United States and Kenya; the start of the Summer and Winter Program; the international seminars of the Economics, Leadership and Governance Program in the United States and the United Arab Emirates; the weeks in London, Brussels and Frankfurt of Master's Degree of Banking and Financial Regulation; and the participation in international congresses and fairs such as NAFSA.
In the field of rankings, the Degree in ADE, has been considered among the three best in our country, according to the U-Ranking 2017 and among the top five, by the newspaper El Mundo. The Degree in Economics, has been recognized as the best in Spain in the field of internationalization, according to the ranking of the CYD Foundation. Likewise, the Master's Degree in Economics and Finance, was positioned among the five best in Spain in the area in Finance, according to El Mundo. On the international podium, the School stands out among the top 50 in the world in Accounting and Finance; and among the 101-150 in the world in subject of Economics, according to the QS Ranking by subject 2017.
