Wilfrid Laurier University of Canada wins University of Navarra Case Competition
Students from 16 universities in nine countries participated in this competition, which has been held since 2013.

Wilfrid Laurier University of Canada has achieved the first position in the case competition of business University of Navarra International Case Competition (UNICC). A total of 64 students from 16 universities from nine countries participated in this event, unique among Spanish universities and organized by students of the School Economics at the University of Navarra since 2013.
After Wilfried Laurier University, second place went to the American University of Beirut (Lebanon), and third place to HEC Montréal, Canada's oldest business school. In addition to Canada and Lebanon, the teams came from Spain, the United States, Hong Kong, Ireland, Norway, the Netherlands and Portugal.
Expansion of Tuenti in Latin America
Over the course of six days, the university students tried to solve real problems in different companies and presented their solutions to a jury made up of professionals from the companies themselves and from renowned consulting firms. Members of companies such as Abante, Amazon, BCG, Bodegas Otazu, Cinfa, Congelados de Navarra, Deloitte, Gamesa, Glovo and Telefónica were in charge of judging the students' proposals.
After six days of competition, the students, divided into 16 teams, participated in a 12-hour final round that took place at the Hotel Tres Reyes in Pamplona and at Amigos Building of the University. The four finalist teams - the University of Alberta in Canada finished in fourth place - had to come up with a business idea for Telefónica proposal to expand the Tuenti brand in Latin America.
