Five students currently studying the Master's Degree in design Galenic and Manufacturing in the Pharmaceutical Industry at the University of Navarra will carry out their internships in 4 companies and laboratories: Novartis, Faes Farma, Cinfa and GSK.

This period, which will last 12 months, will begin in September. As Sonia Zapata, coordinator of the master's program at School Pharmacy and Nutrition, explains, "the goal is fill in the second year of Master's Degree, the equivalent of 60 credits ECTS credit, by introducing students to the activity of a drug manufacturing plant". "At the end of the internship," she adds, "students will have to submit a report of activities, which will be supervised by the tutor assigned to them at business".

Upon completion of the Master's Degree, the student has both technical knowledge and experience internship in drug development, which facilitates its rapid incorporation into the labor market, for the performance of positions of great responsibility in the pharmaceutical industry and related industries, as well as in the health administration.

The five students are the first graduating class of this Master's Degree, which has inherited the experience professor and the facilities of the previous specialization program in Industrial and Galenic Pharmacy of the academic center.
